When someone says "experience matters" it's true! Betty has been a licensed Real Estate Professional for more than 31years, all right here in Onslow County. She has received the following professional accreditations: Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor's Institute (GRI), and e-PRO Internet Professional. She is proud to have these initials following her name. She is a House Values Certified Professional and a Just Listed Certified Professional as well as a member of the House Values Director's Club and President's Club.

Betty is a member of the Jacksonville Board of Realtors and is serving on the Board of Directors. In 1989 she served as the Jacksonville Board of Realtors President, and was the Realtor of the Year in 1984.She is affiliated with the North Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She is also a Certified Real Estate Instructor. In addition to her professional Real Estate education, she received a Bachelor of Science from Chapman College in Los Angeles, CA and a Master of Science in Education from Pepperdine University, in Los Angeles.

She is actively involved in our local community. She has been a committee chairperson for the Onslow County Relay For Life, a huge fundraising event held every year in Jacksonville to benefit the American Cancer Society. She has also been a member of the Board of Directors for the United Way. She is a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She has been married to her husband, Gene (who is a retired Navy Chaplain) for more than 40 years and they have three adult children and six grandchildren, including a set of triplets! She was in the management and ownership side of the business for 10 years and has been back in the sales side for the past six years. Betty was one of the top-producing agents in Onslow County for many years. She was also a CENTURY 21 CENTURION® award winning agent.

Betty has received numerous sales awards and most recently was the Individual Top Producing agent for Century 21 Champion Real Estate for 2007, 2008, and 2009. She received the Century 21 Quality Service Award for each year from 2004 through 2009 and the Quality Service Pinnacle Award in 2007, 2008, and 2009. She received the International Century 21 President’s Award in 2008 and 2009 for outstanding production and top quality service along with the Century 21 Centurion Award for both of those years.
